| Case Study: | e-copy keeps a track on paperwork |

Profile
MicroWarehouse are resellers of all things IT; they have a large Sales office in Borehamwood, and a dispatch center in Runcorn capable of distributing over 5000 separate items per day.
The requirement
No strangers to the benefit of up-to-date data handling systems, MicroWarehouse needed help to handle the enormous volume of print and data across their network. They also required a solution to help archive 7 million documents across their network.
The solution
e-Copy was introduced into the business in 2002 to address
the huge backlog of archived documents taking up valuable square footage in the
Runcorn facility. Margolis also recommended having the five Ir6000
systems networked with the two colour systems and e-Copy.
By enabling an Ir6000 with e-Copy, the balance of seven million documents are being filed electronically, as well as allowing all current transactions to be handled in the same way.
Information can be distributed Group wide by email or ifax, with enormous cost reduction implications over the traditional method of overnight dispatch of bulky documents.
Margolis Business Systems provided this solution at less than half the cost quoted by document archive specialists.
