Overview:

On this basis, iD’s communication costs represent a large proportion of on-going costs and came to Margolis to propose a solution

Brief:
To provide iD with a complete solution to simplify the administration and reduce all ongoing voice communication costs including landline calls, office to mobile calls, and mobile to mobile calls

Solution:
Margolis migrated all lines owned by iD onto our One Bill platform, by taking over the line rental from BT (Wholesale partnership), and the LCR via CPS, and migrated the mobile users onto our corporate scheme managing to reduce costs.

We also introduced new technology with the Quescom IP/GSM Gateway to allow the reduction of the costs of calls to mobiles by over 50%.

The overall solution has provided iD with a One Bill solution for all their communication costs, and more importantly total savings amounting to 39.5% against their previous costs (Annual savings estimated at £13.5k).

In addition, the decision to introduce the Quescom solution was not only to provide iD with substantial reduction of costs of office calls to mobiles, but also as a strategic decision to introduce services such as e-FAX, e-SMS TXT, and VoIP.
