| Case Study: | Office Fit-Out (new premises) |
| Client: | Doyle Clayton |
| Location: | London EC4 |
| Sector: | Legal |
Overview
This city law firm continue to develop their business and as such expanded into bigger premises. The office needed to reflect their professionalism, be high quality and have a very contemporary feel.
The offices needed to feel open and airy with a lot of natural light. There was also a requirement for a staff room and tea point.
margolis consultant's comment
We discussed how the expansion of their business might see the offices develop.
It was our opinion that we should try to make all fixtures and fittings, where
possible, flexible and easy to alter in the long term.
We recommended a curved glass reception area to make maximum use of natural light.
Solution
By using glass in the reception area and incorporating a semi-opaque finish, out
of which the company's logo was displayed, one's first impression was of a light
and airy space.
Cubicles have been created in the space by using free-standing partitions,
part of which are glazed, again to let natural light flood the space.
The partitions can be easily re-configured as the company need to accommodate
more personnel.
